Responsible For

Technical Talent Sourcing:

  • Source qualified IT professionals through specialized tech platforms (GitHub, Stack Overflow, Dice, LinkedIn, AngelList)
  • Build and maintain pipelines of active and passive tech candidates
  • Utilize Boolean search and advanced sourcing techniques for niche technical skills
  • Network within tech communities, forums, and developer groups
  • Leverage referrals from existing tech professionals in your network
  • Attend virtual tech meetups, hackathons, and conferences for talent mapping

Technical Screening & Assessment:

  • Conduct initial technical screenings to assess candidate skills and experience
  • Evaluate technical resumes and portfolios (GitHub repos, personal projects, contributions)
  • Understand technical requirements and translate them for candidate discussions
  • Assess programming languages, frameworks, tools, and technology stack proficiency
  • Coordinate technical assessments, coding challenges, and live coding interviews
  • Screen for both technical competency and cultural fit

Recruitment Process Management:

  • Partner with hiring managers and CTOs to understand technical role requirements
  • Create compelling job descriptions using appropriate technical terminology
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment from sourcing to offer acceptance
  • Coordinate technical interview rounds (phone screens, coding tests, system design, panel interviews)
  • Facilitate communication between candidates and technical teams
  • Negotiate competitive compensation packages including salary, equity, and benefits

Market Intelligence:

  • Stay updated on IT salary trends, skill demand, and market conditions
  • Provide insights on talent availability for specific tech stacks
  • Advise on competitive positioning and employer branding for tech talent
  • Track emerging technologies and in-demand skills
  • Monitor competitor hiring activities and strategies
